South Yorkshire has a wonderful heritage of faith buildings scattered through its villages and townships. A considerable number are historically significant, whether for their architecture, social heritage or environment.

This section gives you an opportunity to explore over 100 wonderful heritage faith sites, through descriptions, images and interactive maps and gives details of how you can visit. Our sites are open as often as possible but it is advisable to check with individual sites before making your trip.
