Interesting churchyardInterpretation of site available

Welcome to All Saints Frickley.

The church dates back to the 11th century, although much of the present church is 13th century. It is known as ‘the church in the fields’ as it stood alone by 1650 as most of the houses had gone. The black death of 1349-50 severely affected the area and the village gradually disappeared.

The churchyard contains some very interesting stones. Ours is an interesting church, with much to interest visitors so why not pay us a visit you would be made very welcome.
